Emilio Lavazza (1932-2010) was a pivotal figure in the history of Lavazza Coffee. Born in Turin, Italy, Emilio joined the family business in 1955 and took over as Chief Executive after his father's death in 1971. He became President in 1979 and led the company until 2008. Under his leadership, Lavazza expanded internationally and became a global coffee powerhouse. Emilio was known for his innovative approach, including the introduction of coffee capsules and partnerships with renowned chefs. He passed away in 2010, leaving a lasting legacy in the coffee industry.
